money printer go brrr_
The Sound of Debasement
It started as a meme — but it described everything. Central banks. Bailouts. QE. Inflation. A button pressed, endlessly.
“Money printer go brrr” is the internet’s way of saying: this isn’t sustainable.
This piece captures that absurdity. The cartoon tone, masking systemic failure. It became a cultural reflex — whenever the Fed speaks, whenever a new stimulus package is announced, the timeline chants it in unison.
But beneath the laughter is fear. Because money is being created faster than meaning. And the value of everything else is being distorted — slowly, then all at once.
This isn’t economic policy. It’s performance art — on a global scale.
Crypto rose in response. Fixed supply. Predictable issuance. Sound money, or at least an attempt.
This work sits in the tension between comedy and collapse. Between central authority and terminal absurdity.
