The paintings emerge through a reactive pouring process that invites controlled chaos. As the surface develops, intricate cellular terrains form; each is spontaneous, unrepeatable, and alive with texture. Intention meets unpredictability. The automotive paint drips reference an early conceptual work by Lawrence Weiner titled Two Minutes of Spray Paint Applied Directly Upon the Floor from a Standard Aerosol Spray Can (1969). This technique is rooted in graffiti to reference the transgressive spirit of crypto: confrontational, intentional and disruptive.
