0010 The Architecture of Rationalization
Index :: mirrors
Cope is a psychological defense mechanism deployed against the volatility of market regret. When an entry is missed or a trend is ignored, the individual constructs a narrative to reconcile with the outcome. This is a study of denial formatted as logic. It is the reflex of a participant attempting to preserve dignity in the face of lost opportunity.
In the asset class of attention, coping functions as cultural currency. It is the communal effort to mitigate the psychological weight of a mistake. While it adopts the language of reasoning, it remains a protective veil over disappointment. This work examines the necessity of these narratives in an environment that demands constant conviction. Everyone participates in this recalibration of the self. Cope is the shield used to soften the friction of missed brilliance.
