Grindset is a portmanteau of grind and mindset. It describes the relentless hustle mentality, the belief that nonstop work is the only path to success. Originally sincere in entrepreneurial circles, it quickly became self-aware and ironic. People post absurd satirical routines (wake up at 3am, cold plunge, no friends) to mock toxic productivity culture.

People love it because it works both ways. You can use it earnestly or as parody, and the listener decides. It captures a generational tension between ambition and burnout, aspiration and absurdity. Worth documenting because few words hold sincerity and its own critique simultaneously.
