FAB

FAB is the IATA airport code for Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, England. Farnborough is one of the most significant business aviation airports serving London, known for private and corporate aircraft rather than scheduled commercial passenger traffic. The code condenses an entire geography, infrastructure, and mode of access into three letters. 

From an aviation perspective, airport codes are fascinating because they are both practical and cryptic. To the aviation system, FAB is a destination, a routing point, an arrival field, and a logistical coordinate. To those outside that world, it may appear almost abstract. Materials
Automotive paint, acrylic, polymer  and varnish on sealed engineered wood fiber panels. Executed with proprietary airbrush and silkscreen techniques.
